Ashaad Ferebee as Andy
Ashaad Ferebee a Virginia Native by way of Washington D.C is relatively new to the acting scene. He first started acting in high school then went on to pursue his passion for the arts on a collegiate level where he attended the University of Virginia. After taking some time off from acting to pursue a career in technology he has returned to his true love acting. Now studying at the Performers Studio Workshop here in Tampa FL. He hopes to showcase his talents once again on the stage.
Simone Farrell as Katelyn
Simone has always been passionate about the entertainment industry. She grew up living a very active lifestyle in Kissimmee, FL involving dancing, singing, and sports. She later discovered acting and became instantly drawn to it. Currently, she is honing her craft at The Performers Studio Workshop in Tampa, FL. She intends to create wonderful performances on all mediums for people to enjoy. Ultimately, her goal is to create points of connection for people through entertainment.
Joshua Dupree as Damon
Josh Dupree has been truly blessed being apart of another production and couldn’t be happier working with his new found family at the Heather Theater. It has been an amazing and rewarding experience for Josh, being a part of this cast and he promises many more experiences in the theater industry to come. He would like to thank the Heather Theater for honoring him with the role of Damon and would also like to thank the director Dujaun Cole for putting in the hours with the cast to deliver another successful show at the Heather Theater.
As an actor DuJuan has recently appeared on NBC Chicago PD in his first major TV/Film role. Now he's making his director's debut at The Heather Theatre with this comedy. But he's no stranger to The Heather, he was the stage manager for last season's running of Red.
DuJuan sees this opportunity as Billboard's director to showcase another facet of his many talents. Look for to seeing many more projects from him.
Tony J Collins
Tony J. Collins is a native Tampan actor. Some of his performances include the original script of “One Night in Miami” as Sam Cooke at Shimberg Theater, Commander Stewing in “Ruined” at Bininger Theater and Tremaine Thomas in “Brownesville Song (b-side for tray) at Stageworks Theater. This time, he makes his debut as stage manager at The Heather Theater’s production of “Billboard” (2019).
About the Playwright:
Michael Vukadinovich is a playwright and screenwriter. He is the recipient of the Reverie Productions Next Generation Playwriting Award, the Mario Fratti-Fred Newman Political Playwriting Contest, the Gloria Peter Playwright Award for Historical Plays, the Wichita University Playwriting Contest, and the Samuel Goldwyn Screenwriting Award. His work has been produced off-Broadway and across the country, and internationally in Edinburgh, at the Serbian National Theatre, and the Colombian National Theatre. His plays include: Billboard; Trog and Clay (an imagined history of the electric chair); Gilbert, or Death by Obituary; A Giant Arc in the Skyspace of Directions (or the Story of Miracles); Terrarium, and The Magician and the Memory. He completed his M.F.A. in Playwriting at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
